Depression has become a very common problem these days. Depression can be a result of losing a great job or any relationship or any activity which brings pessimistic feeling among people. Depression is the most common emotional problem experienced by humans. People in the state of depression feel that they lack something; they feel as if nothing is going to be good again. A feeling of inferiority complex develops in them. They want to be alone and they feel as if someone has taken out happiness from their lives as if they will not be able to be happy again.
Depression brings a feeling of giving up. Depression hurts a lot as it brings up many of our beliefs, fears and assumptions about us and about life as they are very painful. As a result our mind goes into a state of hyper-tension which leads to depression. However, when we try to bring depression to an end unsuccessfully, a stress is generated. This stress further worsens the difficult situation which may lead to various health problems like insomnia, pains and aches.
Thus, anger, loneliness, restlessness, sadness, overwhelmed is some of the symptoms of depression. In the state of depression one may even have a feeling of attempting suicide. If you feel depressed what should you do to come out of it? The first thing is to express yourself, if you talk to someone when you feel depressed you must talk to somebody and express what thoughts are occupying your mind. This step will definitely help in coming out of the state of depression to some extent.
One can also go for a walk in the nature, or take bath in warm water, listen to music, or do whatever which gives relief and peace to your mind. Thus, we can get rid of depression if we have a strong will power. Moreover, it is necessary to have an optimistic approach toward life so that depression is not being able to occupy our thoughts.
